Good Morning & Welcome To Registration Day!

Good morning everyone and welcome to Registrations Day at Learning & Skills Solutions Pyefleet Week 2018. Kathy and her legendary Cabin will be open to receive your entries from 12 noon and this afternoon we hope to have the Carole Cruickshank Pursuit Race (120 mins) starting at 2pm, although we are keeping an eye on the wind which we very much hope will moderate.

Registration will continue until 6pm and there will be a Competitor's Briefing at 6pm, followed by the Commodore's Welcome Reception at 7pm where we will have drinks, canapés and entertainment from the lovely Leah Sanchez.

Racing gets underway tomorrow and we are delighted to have Dave Gibbons as our Race Officer for both sides of the day this year. Dave will be ably assisted on the Committee Boat by Alice Davies and James Stacey. For Big Wednesday our Race Officers will, as usual, be Alan Hicks and Craig Bond.

Sunday through Friday the galley will open from 8am to 9am for breakfast, Glynis Sorrell will once again be overseeing the legendary Pyefleet Lunch Table and there will be a club supper served each evening at 6pm, with the exception of Wednesday when of course we have the infamous Big Wednesday Beach BBQ.

The weather gods are being a be capricious at the moment. Its a huge relief that the thunder storms have broken the extreme heat, but we do have strong winds forecast for the next couple of days. Hopefully it will be sailable though so stay tuned and we'll keep you posted.

We've got a great week ahead of us with fun for all the family afloat and shore so check out the Programme, get entered and have the most fantastic week everyone.
