The BSC cafe bar is open at weekends, Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings*, Beach Club Friday evenings and for special events and open meetings. Click here for bar opening hours.
*NB check the online calendar - not every Thursday due to low tides
DRINK
We offer a fully stocked bar including a wide range of beers on tap and in bottles, a dazzling array of premium gins and rums, Aperol and Pimms No 1 ready for hot summer days ahead and many other spirits, red wines, white wines, rose wines, ciders and Prosecco.

COFFEE / TEA / HOT CHOCOLATE
The bar serves cups of tea including a selection of herbal teas and bean-to-cup coffee: cappuccinos, lattes & espresso. TAKEAWAYS & instant coffee are also available.
SNACKS
To accompany your drinks, we have lots of cakes, muffins, flapjacks, chocolate bars, sweets and a good selection of savoury snacks available from the bar. Croissants and pain au chocolates are available for breakfast/elevenses. Please ask if not on show.
FOOD**
WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Homemade baguettes are available every day from the fridge at the end of the bar. A choice of cheese, egg mayonnaise, ham or salami with salad.
A selection of hot, artisan pastries including sausage rolls, pasties & quiches are available from the bar unless Simon is cooking a Special Snack served from the Galley hatch after sailing. Simon will usually cook one day a weekend. Menu will be published on WhatsApp. Vegetarian options.
Ready -meals (homemade by Simon) are also available upon request whenever the bar is open. Current offering: Beef Moussaka and Butter Chicken. Please ask at the bar.
TUESDAY NIGHTS
Volunteers run the Galley offering hot food after Cadet night sailing. Menu changes weekly. Vegetarian options.
THURSDAY NIGHTS
A selection of hot, artisan pastries available at the bar after Pursuit race including sausage rolls, pasties & quiches. Vegetarian options. NB we will be trialling a new ordering system in soon - look out for more info!
FRIDAY NIGHTS
Volunteers run the Galley offering hot food after Beach Club sailing. Menu will be communicated on WhatsApp a few days before. Vegetarian options.
OPEN MEETINGS
During special events, open meetings and championships a Galley service is generally offered for breakfast and Club Suppers and baguettes/rolls, snacks and cake are available from the Galley or bar during the middle of the day for lunch.

PRIVATE EVENTS/CLUB HIRE
Members and local organisations can request to hire the club for functions. Availability dependant on club activities and subject to the approval of the BSC General Committee.
As well as the main clubhouse on the ground floor, we have a first floor function room with views over the estuary plus a small training/meeting room.
